10-week Mindfulness & Yoga Course with Students

The 10-week Attention and Mindfulness program, developed by Eline Snel, founder of the International Academy for Mindful Teaching (AMT) and author of ``Sitting Still Like a Frog`` and ``A Still Quiet Place,`` aims to enhance the attention skills of young people living in a fast-paced world and help them experience this period more fully. The methods include analyzing scientific articles, breathing exercises, and movement. The language of instruction can be Turkish and English. Students will receive an International Mindfulness Education certificate (Eline Snel Method) at the end of the program.

8-week Mindfulness and Community Service Course with Students

This course is structured based on the system established by Doğan Cüceloğlu on 5 fundamental principles. Teenagers are compelled to live in a very intense pace and experience temporary difficulties such as exam anxiety, emotional turmoil, and attention issues. In this program where we practice mindfulness to maintain our psychological resilience, we will examine our relationship with ourselves and society. It will be a program where we work on the consciousness of being an individual and being part of a community, develop our self-regulation skills, and design community service projects.

``Seizing the Moment`` Workshop: Creating Mindfulness-Based Routines in the Classroom for Teachers

In the midst of the world's chaotic pace , teachers find themselves rushing to deliver a curriculum written in the past to 21st-century students. Meanwhile, students run from one exam to another, carrying the burden of future anxieties. Research indicates that this speed may not be effective. According to the PISA exam results, used to measure and evaluate reading comprehension, scientific and mathematical literacy, the world is facing a major educational crisis. Turkey is among the countries most significantly affected by this crisis.
According to the 2022 PISA results, Turkey ranks low among OECD countries in reading comprehension, science, and mathematics. These results indicate the need for a new structure in classrooms. The purpose of the session is to bring student and teacher together in the present moment. Taking Aristotle's words, ``Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all,`` as a starting point, we aim to bring the practices where students and teachers see, hear, and feel each other into the classroom, seizing the moment together. Education becomes meaningful only when we bring students and teachers into the present. A student learns only when they know they are seen and heard.
